Ma7ali Compares Car Prices, Kuwat vs. USA

I always knows that people were gettin ripped off with the car prices here. Well here’s a sample of what i mean.

You see the Convertible Price in the middle which is $53,580 , this equals 15,376 KWD. I was at the Kuwait dealer a week ago, they had one of those… a blue one… PRICE ?!?! around 19,000KWD .

You see here how the high end Z’s are $37,000 to $39,000 thts 11,223KWD at the most.

Well ? Guess how much the not so high end not so low end one costs here ?! “”"16,450KWD”"” which is $57,353 !!!!

A lot of us have been waiting for this car, the new Camaro. As you can see the prices above seem reasonable (well at least to me they do).

the first three of the cars above are V6’s and you might also notice that the prices range from $22,680 to $26,875 which equals 6,501 KWD to 7,703 KWD. Well do you really wanna know how much the 7,703 KWD one costs here in Kuwait, well am gona tell you anyway so it doesn’t rlly matter what you think ===== around 9,650 KWD.

FOR  THE HIGH END V8 2SS  :

well they don’t actually have the 2SS one oh they don’t even understand what 2SS means at the dealership, TRUST ME i have tried. but they do seem to have the 1SS (on order, arriving  January).

The 1SS costs $30,745 in the states which is around 8,846 KWD. And for you in Kuwait you can get it for a ”SPECIAL PRICE”  of around 14,500 KWD, HELL that even more than the 2SS version costs in the U.S.

*********

Well am not trien to say that all dealer here in Kuwait are trien to rip you off. there are some reasonable dealerships… hmmm… well like Porsche they’re prices are some what controlled by Porsche, same goes for Volkswagen and some GMC’s…. well i know that seems a bit biased because they’re all owned by one dealer. well not one but the same family.

I duno it all seems complicated, if you do have any ideas or thought that would shed some light on the topics… please do comment.

Iraqi Militants Hack $4.5m Predator Drones With Windows Shareware

Today, in terrifying things about the world: Iraqi militants have been able to intercept video feeds from the Predator surveillance drones with a simple Windows app. To rephrase, an iconic symbol of our military superiority can be foiled for $26.

The software, as far as I can tell, is a simple data-leeching utility. With a satellite dish and a few parameters (Packet IDs and transponder codes, which you can evidently scan for) you can tap into downstream data feeds, and essentially recording whatever data is transmitted to (specific) other users on a satellite network. How the insurgents got the proper parameters for predator drone, I have no idea—but apparently it’s not that hard. Says a senior defense official:

There did appear to be a vulnerability. There’s been no harm done to troops or missions compromised as a result of it, but there’s an issue that we can take care of and we’re doing so.

If twelve-year-olds can encrypt their torrent downloads, I think it’s a reasonably fair expectation for the US military to be able to encrypt mission-critical data transmissions, the insecurity of which could kill people. (Or, alternatively, the security of which ensures that that we can kill people. Someone’s got to die, right? Right? Right.)

Aramex, ‘disolving’ with customs new rule(RESOLEVED)

Most of us use Aramex because we don’t want to pay the ridiculous prices that we pay here, so we order what we want online…pay half the price it costs here including shipping and avoid those unnecessary  extra costs even if it means we have to wait an extra week or two…

For those of us that enjoy shopping online using Aramex, I’m sad to say that Aramex might close due to this new rule, that’s a non official statement that’s just my opinion.

Talking with some of my friends today about some of the stuff we ordered, ‘all’ of us expressed our opinion that we might stop using Aramex because of this new rule.

Don’t know about you guys but i was thinking,

Why is this rule being enforced :?:

Why is it enforced on selective shipments:?:

Who are they protecting :?: because it doesn’t seem that the consumer is :!::???:

The rules of customs are regularly practiced on the organizations that import for the intent of trade, so why the hell is it being practiced on consumers :?::!:

So it seems right now that the merchants who are protected not the consumers :!:

I don’t know what to add right now because I’m still confused of all this….. So please if you’d like to shed some light on this topic, please do:roll:

.

.

.

To  those of you not familiar with those new rules… the following explains ;

Most packages ordered through the internet are held in customs in customs, To get it out of there you must pay

KD15 to KD20 for handling + 5% of the items price(which is usually only enforced on large orders) + the shipping price that your shipping company normally charges.

.

.

.

Aramex has reached a solution with customs, now you only have to pay KD1 for handling instead of 15-20, and 5% rule only applies to items over a $100 , oh and the cost of shipping of course…

I still think the 5% is unnecessary…

Wana get rich fast ? YAH RIGHT, old age ‘BS’

I would like to welcome everybody to this new blog, and i hope you all enjoy it.

As the first post  ever on this blog, i would like to talk about those ‘get rich fast’ schemes. One that is growing in popularity is the one that most of us have heard about. And for legal reasons lets just call it ‘west net’.

First i would like to explain to you how it works in general. Basically they recruit people by making them pay about a sum of KD160 to KD200, at this payment they receive an item that is worth nothing (i will explain later why that is). So you already see that’s the first ripoff.

After paying that sum you are required to find more people that are willing to pay that sum, and recruit them ( with acknowledgment  from the organization that they are recruited under you ). and so on it goes as more people fall for it because ‘their friends’ joined.

Now as you can see a hierarchy is formed, or what is known as in this case as a pyramid scheme .

If you do the simple wiki research you will find that :

Illegal in the following countries and much more:

USA, UK, France, Germany, Norway, Iran, China………………….. and the list goes on and on and on.

The reason they give you that item that is worth nothing is that they can protect their organization from legal action.

example :

‘ripped off person’ : they took my money and gave me nothing,

‘BS organization’ : no we didn’t do that we gave u an item for the sum of money you gave us:twisted:.

………………………………………………………………………………….

 PLEASE watch out for these ripoffs as they make it seem very simple and attractive.

:idea:And common be true to yourself, ‘get rich fast’, Seriously now :!:……

more info on those schemes are available on a simple Google or Wiki search.
